TDP plea on relief to cyclone victims

The Telugu Desam Party on Friday demanded that ‘grama sabha' be conducted in cyclone-affected areas so that the victims who had not received any help from the government would come out with their grievances.

Party's city unit president Dusarlapudi Ramana Raju said though the officials were claiming that relief was provided to 11,000 people in the city so far, there were many complaints from people residing in low-lying areas with regard to non-distribution of any relief.
