Synergies Castings Limited, alloy wheel manufacturer of Visakhapatnam, has bagged the prestigious ‘Global Supplier Quality Excellence Award 2012’ of General Motors.
The award recognises those suppliers, who have either met or exceeded its stringent set of quality performance criteria.
“GM is renowned for its exacting quality standards. The award is a testimony to the company’s commitment to excellence. To win the award with a product like high-end alloy wheels, supplying to the prestigious platform of GM ‘Cadillac’, makes it all the more special,” says Synergies president Shekar Movva.
Synergies offers solutions for precision cast components of all types of cast aluminium alloys, plastics and assemblies. It supplies alloy wheels to several automobile majors like General Motors, Chrysler-USA, General Motors-India, Tata Motors, Ford, Toyota Kirloskar, Hyundai, Fiat and Mahindra and Mahindra, according to a statement issued by Synergies on Saturday.
