SIT probe sought into Ozone Valley land pooling

YSRC has demanded brining the irregularities in the Ozone Valley land pooling in 2007 and of the construction in an open space in Sector II of MVP Colony under the purview of the Special Investigation Team probe.

In a representation to Collector Pravin Kumar, YSRC leader Peetala Murthy Yadav said the CBCID had carried out an inquiry into the land-pooling and the then Vice-Chairman Kona Sasidhar submitted a report stating that VUDA suffered a loss of ₹ 539.49 crore. Action should be taken against those involved in unauthorised construction in Sector II of MVP Colony and irregularities in Survey No 20/11A and 20/11B of Rushikonda, he said.
