Raipur passenger to resume service from today

The services of train No. 58528 Vizag-Raipur passenger will be resumed from August 11 and 58527 Raipur-Vizag passenger will resume from August 12. These two trains and a few other trains were cancelled in view of the ongoing bridge restoration work between the Rayagada and Titlagarh section.

The decision on restoration of the two trains was taken after a review at the work site, according to B. Ramamohana Rao, Divisional Commercial Manager.

Services of other trains would be reviewed subsequently and the public would be intimated accordingly. The trains which will remain cancelled till August 31 are: 58529/30 Durg-Visakhapatnam passenger, 58301/02 Sambalpur-Koraput Passenger, 18107/08 Rourkela-Koraput express and 18211/12 Durg-Jagdpalpur express.

A total of seven other express trains, passing through the section, are being diverted via alternative routes and three other express trains will be short-terminated till August 31.

Remaining trains will run in their normal route.
