‘Raga Malika’ treat to music lovers

Soothing bhajans and Carnatic music reverberated at Port Kalavani auditorium as Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation hosted ‘Raga Malika’, music concert, to mark the commencement of the 92nd birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Followed by the chanting of Vedic hymns, renowned Carnatic singer and professor in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati, Dwaram Lakshmi treated music connoisseurs to Carnatic and devotional songs.

Later, she was felicitated along with other invitees. Founder-president of Visakha Music and Dance Academy C.S.N. Raju and State president of Sri Sathya Sai Seva organisation S.G. Chalam, along with other invitees inaugurated the cultural programme.

Principal of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar A. Kausalya, singers and students rendered kirtanas .

Dance performances

Students of Balavikas presented impressive dance performances. Samithi members and invitees took part in the cake-cutting ceremony which was held to mark the beginning of celebrations.
