Prime accused in Vizag sex racket arrested

Six others accused, including four women, were arrested in the past in this case, says One Town Police Inspector

The prime accused in the hi-tech prostitution racket was arrested by the One Town Police and presented before the media on Wednesday.

Vikram of Krishna district, who was allegedly procuring girls from various places and running a brothel in the city, had been absconding for long. Six others accused, including four women, were arrested in the past in this case, according to Inspector S. Eliyas Mohammad.

Boys missing

Two boys went missing from the B.C. Welfare Hostel at Pendurthy. G. Demudu Babu and K. Srinu, both studying in 9 class, left the hostel for their school on January 27 and did not return.

Case yet to be registered

Pendurthy Inspector Lakshmana Murthy said that the warden had informed them of the missing boys but asked them to wait for some time before the registration of a case as they were believed to have gone to their villages.
