IGNOU invites applications for PG courses

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for PG, degree, PG diploma and diploma courses for the ensuing academic session that starts from January 2018.

While online admissions are open for 15 master, six degree and a number of PG diploma, and certificate programmes, IGNOU is also offering direct admission into management specialisation PG diplomas for graduates. Candidates can download prospectus from IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in and submit the filled in application at the regional centre before the month end.

Speaking at a media conference here on Monday, regional director of IGNOU’s Visakhapatnam centre S. Raja Rao said there was a good response for the dual degree programmes introduced exclusively for the candidates pursuing Chartered Accountancy.

“The university has launched re-structured management specialised PG diplomas for January 2018 session. Direct admissions into MA, Education, MBA (Banking and Finance), specialised B.Com and M.Com programmes are offered in collaboration with ICAI, ICSI,” he said.

Assistant regional director of the centre G. Dharma Rao stated satellite-based Gyan Darshan television channel, dedicated for IGNOU programmes, helps in accessing the digital content of the university programmes.

Apart from Visakhapatnam, applications are also invited from those residing in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East Godavari, West Godavari districts and Yanam of Puducherry.
