IGNOU admission under way

Admission into July 2014 session of PG, degree, diploma and certificate programmes of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is on and last date for submitting applications without fine is June 20 and July 31 with a late fee of Rs. 300, its Regional Director S. Raja Rao said on Thursday.

The common prospectus is available at IGNOU Regional Centre at Ushodaya junction, MVP Colony, here and at IGNOU Study Centres located in Dr. L. Bullayya College, Visakhapatnam; Ideal College, Kakinada; DNR College Bhimavaram and Maharajah’s Post Graduate College, Vizianagaram. The cost of common prospectus is Rs.200 at the counter. Counter open on Saturday: IGNOU Regional Centre here will remain open on Saturday, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for selling the common prospectus and to receive filled in application forms, Dr. Raja Rao said.

IGNOU exams

The June term-end examinations of IGNOU will commence on June 2 at the IGNOU Study Centres located in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Rajahmundry. Hall tickets have been sent to all eligible candidates and also uploaded onto the website www.ignou.ac.in. Students have to carry their IGNOU identity card while appearing for the examinations.
