A pleasant evening offered perfect setting for the devotees who thronged Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar to perform ‘Gopuja’ on Tholi Ekadasi of Ashada masam.

Organised by the City Seva Samithi, one of the wings of the Sri Satya Sai Seva organisation, the devotional programme included chanting of ‘Go-ashtotaram’, and ‘Vishnusahasranamam’ apart from performing ‘mandaparadhana’, ‘abhishekam’ and ‘pradakshinam’.

The venue reverberated with ‘Nadaswaram’ and devotional hymns as the special puja aimed at promoting universal peace and harmony. According to the faithful, worshipping the cow on Tholi Ekadasi is considered auspicious as its body represents three crores of goddesses.
