“I do not believe in miracles or super powers but only in ‘gyana' (knowledge), head of Sri Sarada Peetham Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswati Swami has said. A book ‘Swaroopa Sudha', a biography of Sri Swaroopanandendra Swami, authored by Chintakindi Srinivasa Rao, was released at a function organised at VJF Press Club on Monday.

Recalling his birth, Swami Swaroopanandendra said that he was born in an ordinary family at Ranasthalam in Srikakulam district.

Any person would be born from his mother's womb in the same manner but only ‘saadhakas' can achieve their goals. “I had toured the Himalayas, met many saints and learnt life-truths and knowledge of ‘Advaita' from them,” he said.

“When Srinivasa Rao approached me and expressed his desire to write my biography, I told him about ‘gyana' and also that I had no miracles or special powers.”

Editor of ‘Leader' V.V. Ramana Murthy, ‘Vision' Editor S.S. Shiv Sankar and Vizag Journalists' Forum president G. Srinu Babu participated in the book release function.

Dr. Chintakindi Srinivasa Rao, senior journalist who has worked for several newspapers during the last 25 years, said writing the book was a great inspiration and unique opportunity for him. The launch of the book amidst senior journalists was a moment he would cherish forever.
