An act of bribing or other such acts by candidates or their supporters to influence voters can be captured on one’s mobile phone or digital camera and sent online to the State’s Chief Electoral Officer.

Collector and District Election Officer S. Solomon Arokia Raj has appealed to people and members of the village and ward-level awareness groups to capture such acts on mobile phone or digital camera and send the photographs, or video, audio clippings online to ceoandhra.nic.in .

Flying squads would immediately reach the spot and take preventive measures, and the details of those sending clippings and photographs would be kept confidential.

He asked voters of the district not to accept money, liquor, gifts or other inducements. He appealed to them to exercise their franchise on May 7.
