It was a musical treat for those who made their way to Kaveri Kannada Sangha to participate in the 451{+s}{+t} aradhane (death anniversary) of saint-poet Purandara Dasa on Sunday evening.

Accompanied by Vishnu Joshi on tabla, Raghavendra Guru Nayak on harmonium, Santosh on talam, Anantha Kulkarni from Bagalkot belted out more than 15 keerthane of Sangeeta Pitamaha for the music aficionados.

“This is the second time that I am performing in the city. I always look forward to visit Vizag as the response from the local audience is very encouraging,” Mr. Anantha Kulkarni said.
