Commissioner releases CD produced by students of SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala

The progress of developed countries has never been environment friendly but they always put the blame on countries with more population, said VMC Mohammed Abdul Azeem.

Launching a CD of the documentary titled “It’s your hand, it’s your Vijayawada” , he lauded members of the Eco-Club of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala for producing such a documentary.

If a person puts in hard work in his chosen profession success will definitely come to him, he said.

The Commissioner sought the cooperation of students for his initiatives to make the city more beautiful and save it from all environmental hazards.

The CD was a compilation of all the activities of the College’s Eco-club to save the environment. He appreciated the students for taking up such programmes. He hoped that students of other schools and colleges will follow their example to make Vijayawada litter-free and clean and green.

Siddhartha Academy president S. V. Vishnuvardhana Rao, secretary N. Venkateswarulu, treasurer P. Lakshmana Rao, College principal T. Vijaya Lakshmi and others participated in this programme. The college students shot the footage of their activities and also on some environmental themes to tell people that protection of environment was essential for our own survival in future.
