Herbert Chavez from Philippines has undergone several plastic surgeries to look like Superman. He has dramatically altered his appearance to look more like the famed Man of Steel.

A water bottle used by singer Justin Bieber sold for $624 to the parents of a Bieber fanatic. A man claiming to be an admirer of Miley Cyrus has got tattoos of the singer all over his body.

Strange is the world of fans and a die-hard fan can do the craziest of things to exhibit love for his/her idol.

Closer home, in mana Bejawada, R. Chittibabu, represents the ilk. The 25-year-old die-hard fan of film actor Pawan Kalyan works in a car wash service centre at Bavajipet. Throw a glance at his motor bike where every inch of space is filled with colourful images of Pawan Kalyan, who means a world to him.

“Earlier I had a cycle which I decorated in a similar way. I bought this motorcycle in 2012 just before the release of Attharintiki daaredi and tried doing it myself with Pawan Kalyan’s myriad moods. But the stickers would spoil every time I had the fuel tank refilled. To make it a permanent feature, I spent Rs. 3,000,” he says happily. Chittibabu moves around with a world of Pawan Kalyan he has created. The rims of the tyres have names of Pawan Kalyan films and on the black bumper are some of his famous catchy dialogues.

Chittibabu watches all ‘Power Star’ films at least 6-7 times and the first one has to be a first-day-first-show. His admiration seems to be infectious for his seven-year-old son and five-year-old daughter, who have also taken to a strong liking for the hero.

“Not just his vehicle, you will find Pawan Kalyan’s pictures stuck on TV, refrigerator, cupboards and the cot in his house. All of them are crazy fans of the hero,” says his mother-in-law Parvathi. “I have this sdesire to be photographed with Pawan Kalyan. Once that happens, all this images will be replaced with that picture and these film dialogues will make way for his latest political speeches,” he says with a smile.
