Jaggery-making is no more an exclusive activity of the farmers in the plains. The revenue-generating activity has reached Darakonda in the Tribals-inhabited Agency mandal of Visakhapatnam District. The area was known for dominance of naxalites. The Hindu photographer K.R. Deepak captures the activity at Darakonda in Eastern Ghats.
