Various methods which can be used to save energy were explained to students by P.B. Siddhartha College Director K. Krishna Murthy. On the first day of the state-level three-day seminar FISICA-2012 on the topic “Emerging Trends in Harnessing Various Sources of Energy: A Need to Overcome Future Energy Crisis”, he advised the students to focus on solar energy. Solar power was the only resource which was limitless, he opined. Students must concentrate on this resource and try to develop new methods to harness its energy, he said.
Students from various colleges shared their own unique ideas on how to overcome the energy crisis. Principal in-charge Rev. Fr. G. Victor Emmanuel was present.
