Suvidha special trains

The Southern Railway will operate Suvidha special trains between Chennai Egmore and Tirunelveli to clear the extra rush of traffic: A Suvidha special train from Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli would be operated via the main line on July 9. Train No.82601 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli Suvidha special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.45 p.m. on July 9 and reach Tirunelveli at 12.30 p.m. the next day.

Stoppages

The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tirupadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tiruchi, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur and Kovilpatti.

In the return direction the train will be operated via the chord line.

Train No.82602 Tirunelveli – Chennai Egmore Suvidha special train will leave Tirunelveli at 5.20 p.m. on July 10 and reach Chennai Egmore at 6.20 a.m. the next day.

The train will stop at Kovilpatti, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchi, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam.

Reservations for the trains were open, a press release said.
