The draft list of polling stations for various local bodies had been released and kept for public verification, Collector K.S. Palanisamy said in a press release.
The list of 808 polling stations in Tiruchi Corporation, 36 in Manapparai Municipality, 31 in Thuraiyur Municipality, 33 in Thuvakudi Municipality, 273 in 16 town panchayats and 2,234 in 14 panchayat unions have been notified in the offices of the District Election Officer, District Panchayat, Panchayat Unions and Village Panchayats. Persons who wish to contest the elections and district representatives of parties can submit if they have any objections to the list of polling stations before September 14.
