An accused involved in a criminal intimidation case in Thanjavur district and against whom a look out circular had been issued was caught at the international airport here on Sunday.
The accused A. Marimuthu (43) was subsequently handed over to the Papanasam police personnel who had booked the case against him in 2012. Police sources said Marimuthu arrived from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia by a Sri Lankan Airlines flight in the morning. The immigration personnel who checked his passport caught him and handed him over to the Airport police station.
