Medical college official relieved of post

The government has issued orders that Manoj T. Pillai, deputy superintendent of the Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, who was also holding charge of the Superintendent, be relieved of his post immediately, pending inquiry.

Harassment

Health Minister V. S. Sivakumar,had on Thursday ordered the medical college Principal conduct an inquiry, after women employees of the Department of Radiodiagnosis, including doctors, filed a complaint before the State Women’s Commission, accusing Dr. Pillai of harassment and use of foul language in office.

RMO given charge

The order says that K. V. Rishikeshan Nair, RMO at MCH, will be given full charge of the Superintendent, in addition to the current duties he holds.
