Vizhinjam action council: State government should take over Smart City project

July 13, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 07:58 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

The Vizhinjam Motherport Action Council (V-mac), in a statement here, has demanded that the State government should take over both the Smart City and Vallarpadam International Container Terminal projects, apart from the Vizhinjam International Seaport project. This would help counter attempts by vested interests who were trying to sabotage these projects. The council also cautioned that attempts to derail the Vizhinjam project by vested interests would continue, against which the State had to be on the guard. — Special Correspondent
