Yeddyurappa to visit city on Monday

Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will be here to attend a series of programmes on Monday.

He will be laying foundation stone for a Ranga Mandira at Bondel and the synthetic track at Mangala Stadium at 8.45 a.m.

He will be attending a function at Urwa Market in which over 21 houses will be handed over to SC/ST beneficiaries. He will inaugurate the “Samaja Bhavan” at Urwa Market.

He will lay the foundation stone for a ropeway at Sultan Bathery and inaugurate the 33/11-kV power substation at Kadri-Mallikatta.

He will lay the foundation stone for new buildings for Government First Grade Colleges at Car Street and Balmatta and for the Mangalore Police Commissioner's office.

Mr. Yeddyurappa will be inaugurating a community health centre at Vamadapadavu, an accident victims' treatment unit at the government hospital at Bantwal, a fire services station and the divisional office building of the Mescom also at Bantwal.

The Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues and MLAs will travel by a Volvo bus here, a press release said .
