Train services on Konkan route disrupted

The derailment on Sunday affected several trains

In view of derailment of goods train at Karanjadi on the Konkan Railway route, Train No.12134 Mangalore Junction-Mumbai CST Express scheduled to leave Mangalore Junction at 4.45 p.m. on Monday was rescheduled to leave at 2 a.m. on Tuesday. Its pairing Train No.12133 Mumbai CST-Mangalore Junction Express was rescheduled to arrive at 1 a.m. on Tuesday instead of at 3.15 p.m. (on Monday).

The derailment of a goods train near Ratnagiri on Sunday has resulted in disruption of other train services as well. Train No.16348 Mangalore Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, scheduled to leave Mangalore Central at 2.25 p.m. on Monday was rescheduled to leave at 1.20 a.m. on Tuesday. Its pairing train was delayed by 13 hours.

Train No.16345 Lokmanya Tilak-Thiruvananthapuram Central Netravathi Express was rescheduled to arrive at Mangalore Junction at 4 p.m. instead of 6 a.m. on Monday.

The other Monday trains rescheduled at Mangalore Junction included Train No.12618 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Junction Mangala Express (arrived at Mangalore Junction at 4.30 p.m. instead of 2.20 a.m.); Train No.19578 Hapa-Tirunelveli Express (5 p.m. instead of 6.25 a.m.); Train No.12284 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Junction Duronto Express (7 p.m. instead of 10.28 a.m.); Train No.22150 Pune-Ernakulam Junction Express (9 p.m. instead of 1.55 p.m.); Train No.19260 Porbandar-Kochuveli Express (10.30 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.); Train No.12619 Mumbai CST-Mangalore Central express (11.30 p.m. instead of 10.25 a.m.).
