Mangalore businessman falls off train, dies

A real estate businessman from Mangalore fell off a train compartment and died near Innanje village on Monday.

According to the Kaup police, businessman Manmohan Malli (51) was travelling in Madgaon-Ernakulum Express train. He might have accidentally fallen from the compartment and died. The incident might have taken place between 1.45 a.m. and 2 a.m.

His body was noticed by railway gateman Ashok, who called track checker Nagaraj Bhat and informed him about the body lying near the track. A case of unnatural death has been registered. Mr. Malli was the owner of Abhiman Constructions and Abhiman Hotel in Mangalore.
