Energy Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Sunday said that the Congress government has acted on its promises and now seeks reward in the form of re-election. Speaking at the inauguration of various development works at Bantwal near here, the Minister said, “Naavu Nudidante Nadediddeve; Namage Kooli Kodi Endu Keluttiddeve (We have kept our promises; give us our wages)” . Said to be a strong contender for the Chief Minister’s post in the next elections, Mr. Shivakumar, however, surprised many by urging people to bring Mr. Siddaramaiah back to the post.
