The Minister disbursed free gas stoves worth Rs.4.33 lakh to 866 beneficiaries at Padiyar, 1,600 television sets worth Rs.32.97 lakh at Vellabommanpatti, 3,817 television sets costing Rs.78.97 lakh at Vadamadurai and marriage assistance to 13 persons and Old Age Pension to 26 persons. The total welfare assistances disbursed were worth Rs.1.18 crore.
