Several ongoing projects, some of which are nearing completion, were inspeced by Collector K. Veera Raghava Rao at Sakkimangalam near here on Tuesday.

He went around a nursery, which has been raised on poromboke land, at Kalmedu. A total of 648 solar houses would be constructed in the district under the Chief Minister's Solar-Powered Green House Scheme at an estimated cost of ₹13. 60 crore, the Collector said.

Three hundred and twenty six would also be built under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana. Individual household toilets had been constructed in most houses at Sakkimangalam.
