Strike call withdrawn

The All-Kerala Federation of Petroleum Traders has withdrawn its decision to keep the petrol pumps closed on November 1 and 2 to press for various demands.

President of the federation Alex Vallakallil said here on Thursday that the decision followed an assurance given by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to the representatives of the organisation that the government would do whatever possible to meet their demands.
