The stepping down of Elias George as MD of KMRL is a sad day for Kochi metro, DMRC's Principal Advisor E. Sreedharan has said.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, he said that there was sound coordination between the two agencies when he was at the helm of KMRL. On Mr. George's request to Mr. Sreedharan that he take over as KMRL’s patron to oversee the project's Kakkanad and Thripunithura extensions, the Metroman said that this could be considered at the appropriate time.
