A programme intended to motivate aspiring entrepreneurs was organised here on Friday by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in association with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( MSME ) Training Institute. A.A. Abdul Azeez, president, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the programme. S.R. Nair, Managing Director, Team Frontline, Kochi, and former president of Kerala Management Association, discussed various aspects of entrepreneurship. Different schemes of the State government were highlighted by Biju Abraham, Deputy Director, District Industries Centre, Kochi.
G.S.Prakash, Deputy Director, MSME, pointed out that a rule had been formulated by the Union government that all the public sector companies should procure 20 per cent of the products from MSME for their requirement. G. Balagopal, Assistant Director, MSME, Ettumanur, S. Pradeepkumar, General Manager, District Industries Centre, Kochi, B.R.Sivadasan Nair, Coordinator (Training), MSME Training Institute, Ettumanur, and others spoke.
