Bar owners seek probe

The Kerala Bar Hotel Owners’ Association has demanded an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence into allegations of corruption against Finance Minister K.M. Mani.

Association working president Biju Ramesh told reporters here on Tuesday that the association would write to these Central agencies and the Union Home Ministry listing instances of alleged bribe-taking by Mr. Mani.

“Man has taken bribes from bakers, quarry owners, jewellers and bar owners.”
