Not even 4% of identified vacant posts have been filled during the last 33 months and not a single new job created during the last 999 days since TRS came to power, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged.
Mr. Reddy attended a public meeting on Friday in Huzur Nagar as part of CPI (M)'s Mahajana Padayatra led by State secretary T.ammineni Veerabhadram.
He said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao himself had admitted in the Assembly that there were 107,744 vacancies in various departments in the State. But so far only 4,295 posts had been filled.
He said that the Government was trying to mislead the jobless youth by making mere announcements on recruitment drive even as KCR’s entire family was enjoying employment. “KCR is simply not concerned.
On one side he neglected filling up of vacant posts and on the other, he supported the demonetisation decision of BJP Government that snatched lakhs of jobs in the private sector since November 8 last year,” he said.
The Pradesh Congress Committee chief slammed the Chief Minister for not clearing the dues towards fee reimbursement and playing with the careers of 14 lakh students and their families in Telangana.
