The TDP leadership has reportedly put on hold the announcement of its second list of candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Seemandhra region.
After the first list of candidates for 47 Assembly and seven Lok Sabha seats, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu was expected to announce the second list on Thursday. But, party sources said he had decided against announcing the list in view of the MPTC and ZPTC election slated for Friday.
“Announcement of a list at this point of time may have impact on the voting in local body elections at least in some districts. Therefore, the party has decided to announce the list on Friday evening,” a senior leader told The Hindu .
