One more swine flu death in Hyderabad

Swine flu related deaths continue to rattle Hyderabad. The health authorities here have confirmed one more death, this time a 40-year-old male hailing from Narrawada village, Duttalur mandal, in Nellore district at Gandhi Hospital. This has taken the unofficial swine flu related death toll to 26 while officials have maintained that so far around 22 deaths have occurred between December and January.

The Nellore District resident was admitted to Gandhi Hospital on Thursday, January 22, and died at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, officials said. Health officials from Andhra Pradesh Government said that efforts would be made to find out the places where the deceased had visited before reaching Hyderabad for treatment.
