Five more persons succumb to swine flu in Hyderabad

: Five persons, including four women, have died of health complications arising out of swine flu in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Health officials have confirmed that 50 more people have tested positive for swine flu, taking the overall positive cases to 221 in January. The swine flu death toll in Telangana has risen to 12 in January. With health care workers, especially house surgeons, coming directly in contact with swine flu patients, two of them at Gandhi Hospital have tested positive.

The two house surgeons, admitted to Gandhi Hospital and undergoing treatment, are stable.
