MCEME’s 91st convocation on June 15

Officers to display their innovations

32 officers of the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-27) are set to graduate as engineers from the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME). The 91st convocation ceremony will be held at the Secunderabad Cantonment on June 15.

Vice Chancellor A Venugopal Reddy of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University will be the chief guest. The outgoing officers would also showcase their innovative projects. Maj.Gen. Paramjit Singh, Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor of the College supervised the entire training of TES course.

MCEME trains officers in various engineering disciplines to enable them to sustain the entire gamut of equipment of Indian Army in war and during peace. The college has been awarded five times with the Golden Peacock National Award for training, ISO-9001 certification, approved as a ‘Type Training Establishment’ by director general of Civil Aviation and is a recipient of Prime Minister’s award for four student projects.
