Kukatpally records 1.75 c.m. rain

Some parts of the city received light rainfall on Friday after a brief lull in monsoon this week. Northern parts of the city recorded the highest rainfall in the State until late evening. The weathermen had predicted thundershowers in Hyderabad and surrounding districts lasting up to three hours. Trimulgherry recorded around 1.5 c.m. while Kukatpally recorded 1.75 c.m. rainfall. Kapra, Malkajigiri, Moula Ali and Secunderbad along with some centrally located areas like Begumpet, Ameerpet, in the city also witnessed light rain.

There was rainfall in the Shamshabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport area too.
