Four persons jump under train, commit suicide

Two married women committed suicide along with two of their kids by jumping under a running train at Anantarajupet in Kadapa District on Friday. According to police sources, the women, who married brothers, were fed up with their behaviour and harassment.

The women, identified as Aruna and Manemma, who hailed from Y. Kota walked to the railway track nearby and threw themselves under a running train with their daughters aged below five years. They died instantaneously. One of the babies was to celebrate its birthday on Friday. The railway police reached the spot and started investigation.
