Karuna Sagar, an advocate of Bharatiya Janata Party Legal Cell, on Thursday lodged a complaint with Saidabad police seeking registration of criminal case against All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi for the alleged hate speech he had made recently at a public meeting in Old City of Hyderabad.
Cotton seeds seized
Hyderabad police and Agriculture department officials on Thursday raided a house in Gandhinagar and seized 1,230 kg of spurious cotton seeds. They detained three persons, Patel Amith Kumar Chandrakanth, 37, Hardik Patel, 23, and Vinay R. Shah, 57.
