CM inaugurates new multi-speciality facility of Star Hospitals

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said on Friday said Hyderabad had emerged a medical hub, with patients from various States and abroad preferring to be treated at private hospitals here.

Mr. Rao, who inaugurated a multi-speciality hospital and neurology centre of Star Hospitals here, maintained that the city would continue to have a bright future in the field of medical care.

The new Star Hospitals facility consists of an institute of neurosciences and trauma, orthopaedics and joint replacement, ENT, critical care, emergency medicine, nephrology, urology and advanced imaging.

The new hospital has an epilepsy clinic and facilities to handle sports-related injuries, etc.
