In a related development, Vanasthalipuram police of Cyberabad-East commissionerate seized three pistols and 22 live rounds along with Rs. 38.5 lakh after raiding a house in their jurisdiction.

Local police officials said that they were suspecting that the house was being used as a hideout for secret operations either by Nayeem or his associates. The house located in Tulja Bhavani colony of Injapur was taken on rent a year ago by a person Sridhar Goud. It is said that he and his family live there but it was locked when police raided acting on a tip-off. “Inquiries with neighbours revealed that some men used to visit the house on and off during odd hours. They suspect that illegal land settlements or other activities were being carried out in the house,” the police said. Copies of four sale deeds relating to lands and three General Power of Attorney agreements were also found.
