APCPDCL clarifies

Responding to a report that appeared in these columns on Friday, September 3, on the issue of ‘No Surcharge for Late Payment of Power Bills', the Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited (APCPDCL) on Friday in a press release said that Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission is the only competent authority to decide on the issue of financial matters with regards to levy of surcharge or waiving of reconnection charges consequent to disconnection of services due to non-payment of electricity bills.
