The Ashram area witnessed traffic snarls on Tuesday as a slip road was blocked following dislocation of a gantry crane at a Metro construction site. The crane was slightly swept off the ground during the dust storm on Monday. “Traffic on the Ring Road towards Mathura Road (along the Ashram flyover) and Bhogal (below Ashram flyover) from DND expressway side has been diverted,” the DMRC said. According to the plan, all vehicles heading towards Mathura Road or Bhogal from the DND expressway side will have to take the Ashram flyover and take a U-turn from below the Sriniwaspuri flyover. —Staff Reporter
