An inquiry was ordered after a bag containing illegal weapons and explosives was recovered from within the premises of Police Lines area here, a senior officer said on Sunday.
The bag containing country-made weapons and cartridges was found in the bushes within the Police Lines area here on Saturday.
Following this, a probe by Additional Superintendent of Police was ordered, said DIG Lucknow R. K. Chaturvedi after visiting the spot.
He said that directives have also been issued to conduct verification of the residents of Police Lines area. - PTI
