Offering free wi-fi for 30 minutes in five major temple, www.pujashoppe.com, a portal offering puja samagri , seems to be going all out to please Gods and devotees alike.

In what seems to be a first-of-its-kind marketing initiative, the website offers wi-fi to visitors coming to Hanuman Mandir, Jhandewalan; Bhagwat Dham; Akshardham Temple; Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, near Red Fort; and Hanuman Mandir, Karol Bagh. Website CEO Tapas Mallick said the idea is to help both devotees and temples to connect with each other. The site plans to cover 1,000 temple across the country.

“The temples will benefit with www.pujashoppe.com designing a web page especially for them and promoting them through its portal and other media, thus making it popular among devotees all over the globe.

Devotees visiting the temple can log on to the temple webpage free of cost while visiting the temple,” he added.

Mr. Mallick added that devotees will be able to gather dynamic information about the temple, as temple authorities will have complete access to the webpage.

The group noted that the main objective of the proposed venture is to create a business out of a large market of puja related products and services, which has so far remained unorganised and try creating a brand.
