While its services to Uttar Pradesh and Haryana remained suspended, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) resumed its night services from Saturday.

The public transporter had suspended its inter-State, night and the Delhi-Lahore bus services on Friday in the wake of the violence after self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim was convicted in a rape case.

Decision awaited

A senior government official said bus services to destinations in NCR would remain suspended till Monday, when the DTC would take a decision on resuming the Delhi-Lahore bus service.

The official said two buses were gutted in the violence. Each of these cost between ₹40 lakh and ₹50 lakh, he added.
