Nearly a week after she landed in Delhi from Chennai on June 19, Shruti Maria Mahendar, who travelled on an Air India flight, is yet to get hold of her baggage.

The airline is now reportedly saying that the vehicle carrying her luggage and that of many others has gone missing.

Speaking about her ordeal, Ms. Mahendar said: “We were told on Tuesday [June 21] that a courier company would deliver our baggage. However, I have failed to get a satisfactory response despite numerous calls to the company. Both Air India and the courier company seem clueless about where the baggage is or exactly when it will be delivered. Now they are saying that the vehicle in which it was sent is not traceable and that a police complaint has been filed.” Despite repeated attempts, Air India could not be reached for a comment.
