AAP spending Rs.100 crore on campaign: BJP

Published - December 19, 2014 10:56 am IST - New Delhi:

The Delhi BJP on Thursday accused the Aam Aadmi Party of spending “Rs.100 crore” on its campaign for the forthcoming Assembly elections and sought the source of money from the party.

“They (AAP) have booked 1,200 commercial sites in the Capital and on an average, every site is not less than 3 lakh. They have booked these for over three months so they are spending 100 crore in the Delhi elections,” party spokesperson Harish Khurana alleged in a statement.

However, the AAP refuted the charges. “Every account and money spent will be submitted to relevant authorities. Everything of AAP is in public domain and transparent,” said an AAP spokesperson.
