SSLC exam: absence of attachment sheet leaves students confused

March 29, 2013 09:51 am | Updated November 16, 2021 10:07 pm IST - COIMBATORE:

The absence of a small sheet that would have helped the Class X students answer Question 38 in the Tamil Paper II examination, held on Thursday, left the students confused.

According to sources, the question paper carried a note at the top on Page 1, which said that the paper contained a sheet to be used in answering Question 38. The question was about filling in a bank pay-in slip. The five-mark question asked the students to write their registration number at the place mentioned name. Students, however, could not find any answer sheet. Sources in the School Education Department said that they became aware of the absence of the sheet soon after the examinations began. The Department had asked the students to attend the question. A principal of a private school said that the absence of the sheet should not have caused confusion as the students could have drawn the pay-in slip on their answer sheet.
