Plus-Two supplementary exams: Many candidates in Coimbatore yet to get hall tickets

Many candidates in the city who are to appear for the Instant Supplementary Examinations beginning on Wednesday did not get hall tickets even on Monday.

The examinations are held for students who had failed in one or more subjects in Plus-Two examinations. A parent said her son had applied online on May 27 and had sent the application to the Department of Government Examinations. The department had announced that hall tickets for all candidates would be given on Monday at six locations in Coimbatore from 9 a.m.

The parent said that that they were made to wait till 11 a.m. Some of the parents complained to the School Education Department officials, and then hall tickets were given. But not for all candidates. Officials asked parents to come to the office of Chief Educational Officer on Wednesday. Language paper – I will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Chief Education Officer A. Gnanagowri told The Hindu that hall tickets for all candidates had arrived. Those who have not got it could collect it from her office at Raja Street in Town Hall.
